Two Grim Reapers, Penny and Ben, show up to collect some confused souls recently arrived in the afterlife. Upon discovering the spirit of a small child among them, however, curmudgeonly old-timer Ben snaps at the ugly nature of their job.

Will his cynicism rub off on the innocent and optimistic Penny? Or will he come to see that even with its ugly sides, Death is still a vital part of Life?
